🇦🇫 Ashkāsham, Afghanistan

Ashkāsham is a small town located in the northeastern province of Badakhshan in Afghanistan. It has a population of around 10,000 people. While Ashkāsham is not known for its maritime industry, it does sit on the banks of the Panj River, which is an important waterway for trade and transportation in the region. However, due to its landlocked location, it may not offer much interest to seafarers, shipowners, or crewing companies.
