Gjoa Haven is a small Inuit community located in Nunavut, Canada. It has a population of around 1,300 people. Although it is not a major shipping hub, Gjoa Haven has a small harbor that can accommodate smaller vessels. It is known for its strong connection to Arctic exploration, as it was the wintering site of Roald Amundsen during his historic Northwest Passage expedition.
