Madrid is the capital city of Colombia, not to be confused with the Spanish capital. It is located in the Cundinamarca Department and has a population of approximately 13,000 people. Being an inland city, Madrid does not have any ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts. However, it does offer a unique cultural experience with its colonial architecture, vibrant festivals, and proximity to natural attractions such as the Chingaza National Natural Park.
