Santuario is a small city located in the department of Antioquia, Colombia. It has a population of approximately 20,000 people. Although it is not a coastal city, it is still of interest to seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies as it is situated near the Magdalena River, a major waterway in Colombia. The river is used for transportation of goods and has ports and shipyards that facilitate trade and shipping activities.
