Kolari is a small town located in the Lapland region of Finland. It has a population of around 3,800 people. While not directly situated on the coast, Kolari does have a nearby river, the Tornio River, which is used for transportation of goods. For seafarers, shipowners, or crewing companies, Kolari may not be of particular interest as it is inland and does not have ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts.
