Marsat is a small city located in the Puy-de-Dôme department of France. It has a population of approximately 1,500 residents. Although it is not directly on the coast, Marsat is still of interest to seafarers and shipowners as it is situated near the Allier River, which is navigable and can be used for transportation of goods. However, there are no ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts in the city.
