Makokou is a city located in Gabon, Central Africa. It has a population of approximately 30,000 people. Although it is not directly situated on the coast, Makokou is still of interest to seafarers and shipowners as it is located on the Ogooué River, which allows for transportation of goods and supplies. The city does not have any major ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts.
