Cuilapa is a city located in the Santa Rosa department of Guatemala. With a population of approximately 40,000, it is the capital of the department. While Cuilapa is not a coastal city and does not have ports or shipyards, it offers a central location for seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies to access various ports around Guatemala, such as Puerto Santo Tomás de Castilla and Puerto Quetzal.
