Mallow is a town in County Cork, Ireland, with a population of around 12,000. Located on the River Blackwater, it has a rich maritime history and is of interest to seafarers and shipowners. While Mallow itself doesn't have ports or shipyards, it is in close proximity to Cork Harbour, one of the largest natural harbors in the world, which offers excellent facilities for shipping and ship repair.
