Netivot is a city in southern Israel, located near the Gaza Strip. It has a population of around 30,000 people. While not directly on the coast, Netivot is of interest to seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies as it is within a reasonable distance to the ports of Ashdod and Ashkelon, which are major ports in Israel. These ports are equipped with shipyards and handle a significant amount of maritime trade and cargo.
