Soalkuchi is a town in India with a population of approximately 10,000 people. It is located in the Kamrup district of Assam. Seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies may not find much of interest in Soalkuchi as it is primarily known for its handloom industry, particularly the production of traditional Assamese silk textiles like Muga and Pat silk. It does not have any ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts.
