Sultanpur Lodhi is a small city in the Kapurthala district of Punjab, India. It has a population of approximately 20,000 people. While it is not directly connected to the sea or known for its maritime industry, it holds historical significance for seafarers and shipowners as it is believed to be the birthplace of the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The city attracts pilgrims and tourists who visit the Gurdwara Ber Sahib, a sacred Sikh shrine located here.
