Annamalainagar, also known as Chidambaram, is a city in the Cuddalore district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It has a population of approximately 62,153 people. For seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies, the city is located about 15 kilometers from the Bay of Bengal and has a port called Puducherry Port. However, it does not have any shipyards or factories producing ship parts.
