Barsana is a small town in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It has a population of around 18,000 people. Although not directly connected to the sea, Barsana is of cultural significance to seafarers interested in Hinduism as it is believed to be the birthplace of Radha, the beloved consort of Lord Krishna. The town is famous for its Holi celebrations, attracting visitors from all over the world.
