Apricena is a town located in the Apulia region of Italy. It has a population of around 20,000 people. Although not directly on the coast, it is within close proximity to the Adriatic Sea, making it of interest to seafarers and shipowners. While Apricena itself does not have ports or shipyards, it is a part of the wider Foggia province, which has several ports and shipbuilding facilities.
