Chions is a small town located in the Pordenone province of Italy. It has a population of around 6,000 people. Although it is not a major maritime hub, it is situated near the Adriatic Sea and within driving distance of the port cities of Venice and Trieste, which offer a range of services and facilities for seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies. Chions itself does not have any notable ports, shipyards, or factories related to shipbuilding or ship parts production.
