Vedano Olona is a small town located in the Lombardy region of Italy. It has a population of around 6,500 people. Although it is not a coastal city, it is strategically located near the borders of Switzerland and is about a 30-minute drive from the city of Varese, which has a port on Lake Maggiore. Vedano Olona itself does not have any ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts of interest to seafarers, shipowners, or crewing companies.
