Mariakani is a small town located in the Coast Province of Kenya, with a population of approximately 10,000 people. It is situated along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway, about 30 kilometers northwest of Mombasa. While Mariakani does not have its own port or shipyards, it serves as an important transportation hub for seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies due to its proximity to the Port of Mombasa, which is the largest port in East Africa.
