Kiritimati is a remote coral atoll located in the Pacific Ocean, part of the Republic of Kiribati. It has a population of around 6,500 people. For seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies, Kiritimati offers a deep-water port known as London Port. It serves as a hub for fishing vessels and offers facilities for refueling, resupplying, and crew changes.
