🇱🇦 Muang Phônsavan, Laos

Muang Phônsavan is the capital of the Xieng Khouang Province in Laos. It has a population of around 37,000 people. Although located inland, it is of interest to seafarers and shipowners due to its proximity to the Mekong River, which is an important waterway for trade and transportation in the region. However, the city does not have any ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts.
