Ilūkste is a small city located in the southern part of Latvia. It has a population of around 4,500 people. Although it is not directly situated on the coast, it is located near several rivers, including the Daugava River, which can be used for transportation. However, it does not have any ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts.
