Ocniţa is a small city located in northern Moldova. It has a population of around 8,000 people. Although it is not a coastal city, seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies might be interested in the nearby port of Giurgiulesti, which is the only sea port in Moldova, located on the Danube River. This port provides access to international shipping routes and offers services for cargo handling, including containers and bulk goods.
