Harhorin, also known as Kharkhorin, is a historic city located in Mongolia. It has a population of around 8,000 people. While Harhorin is not a major seafaring city, it holds significance for its historical and cultural attractions. It was the capital of the Mongol Empire in the 13th century and is home to the Erdene Zuu Monastery, which is the oldest Buddhist monastery in Mongolia.
