Cihuatlán is a city located in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. It has a population of around 30,000 people. Although it is not directly on the coast, it is located near the Pacific Ocean, making it of interest to seafarers and shipowners. It is also close to the port of Manzanillo, which is one of the busiest ports in Mexico, and has shipyards and factories producing ship parts nearby.
