🇲🇽 Batopilas, Mexico

Batopilas is a small town located in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico. It has a population of around 1,200 people. Although it is not directly located on the coast, it is of interest to seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies due to its historical significance in mining. Batopilas was once a major silver mining center, and remnants of its mining industry can still be seen today, including old mine tunnels and structures. However, it does not have any ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts.
