Tenochtitlán was the capital of the Aztec Empire, located in what is now Mexico City. This ancient city had a population estimated at around 200,000 people, making it one of the largest cities in the world at the time. While Tenochtitlán doesn't have any seafaring features, it was built on an island in Lake Texcoco, which made it a strategic hub for trade and transportation in the region.
