Keetmanshoop is a city in Namibia with a population of around 21,000 people. Although it is not a coastal city, it is still of interest to seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies due to its strategic location as a major transport hub in southern Namibia. Keetmanshoop has a railway station and is a gateway to the Port of Lüderitz, which is about 300 kilometers away. It also has a small airport for cargo and passenger flights.
