Sogod is a municipality located in the province of Southern Leyte, Philippines. It has a population of around 38,000 people. For seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies, Sogod is not known for its ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts. However, it is situated along the coast with beautiful beaches and offers opportunities for water activities such as fishing and diving.
