Powiat świdnicki is a county in southwestern Poland, located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The population of the county is around 74,000. Although it is not known for its maritime industry, the city of Świdnica, which is the capital of the county, is located about 120 km from the Baltic Sea. Seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies may not find direct maritime activities in this county, but they can enjoy its historical landmarks, such as the UNESCO-listed Church of Peace in Świdnica.
