Ruda Śląska is a city located in southern Poland, with a population of around 140,000 people. Although not directly on the coast, it is still of interest to seafarers and shipowners as it is connected to the Gliwice Canal, which provides access to the Baltic Sea. The city also has a shipyard called Stocznia Ruda Śląska, which specializes in building and repairing small and medium-sized ships.
