Algés is a small suburb located in the municipality of Oeiras, Portugal. It has a population of around 18,000 people. Although Algés itself does not have any ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts, it is located just a few kilometers away from the Port of Lisbon, making it easily accessible for seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies. The city offers a peaceful residential area with beautiful views of the Tagus River.
