Nueva Italia is a city located in the Central Department of Paraguay. With a population of around 40,000, it is known for its agricultural production, mainly focused on soybeans and cattle farming. While not directly on the coast, the city is situated along the Paraguay River, which provides access to seafarers and shipowners. Nueva Italia does not have any ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts.
