Comuna Jilava is a small town located in the Ilfov County of Romania. It has a population of approximately 8,000 people. Although it is not a major seafaring city, it is situated near the capital city of Bucharest, which has various ports and facilities for shipowners and crewing companies. Jilava itself does not have ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts.
