Tashtagol’skiy Rayon is located in the Kemerovo Oblast of Russia. It has a population of around 50,000 people. Although it is not directly a coastal city, it is of interest to seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies due to its proximity to the Tom River, which provides access to the Ob River and eventually the Arctic Ocean.
