Mirny is a small city located in the Sakha Republic of Russia. It has a population of around 40,000 people. Although it is not directly on the coast, Mirny is of interest to seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies due to its proximity to the Lena River, which is an important waterway for transportation of goods. The city does not have ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts.
