🇸🇳 Kédougou Department, Senegal

Kédougou Department is located in southeastern Senegal, near the border with Guinea and Mali. The city of Kédougou is the capital of the department and has a population of around 20,000. Although not directly on the coast, Kédougou is of interest to seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies due to its proximity to the Gambia River, which is navigable and provides access to the Atlantic Ocean. The city does not have its own ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts.
