Ishkoshim is a small city located in the Gorno-Badakhshan region of Tajikistan. It has a population of approximately 26,000 people. Situated near the border with Afghanistan, Ishkoshim is of interest to seafarers and shipowners due to its proximity to the Panj River, which serves as an important trade route. However, the city does not have any ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts.
