Dalyan is a small town located on the southwestern coast of Turkey. It has a population of around 3,500 people. For seafarers and shipowners, Dalyan is known for its proximity to the Köyceğiz-Dalyan Special Environmental Protection Area, which is home to the endangered loggerhead sea turtles. The town is also a popular tourist destination, offering boat tours to the ancient rock-cut Lycian tombs and the nearby Iztuzu Beach.
