Talas is a district in Kayseri, Turkey, with a population of around 130,000. Although located inland, it is of interest to seafarers and shipowners due to its proximity to the Aksaray-Kayseri Highway, which provides easy access for transporting goods. Talas does not have any ports or shipyards, but it does have factories producing ship parts and other industrial products.
