Taoyuan City is located in northern Taiwan and has a population of around 2.2 million people. It is a key transportation hub, home to Taiwan's largest international airport, Taoyuan International Airport. For seafarers and shipowners, Taoyuan City is not directly located on the coast but is well-connected to the nearby ports of Keelung and Taipei. The city also has a number of industrial zones, including Taoyuan Aerotropolis, which may be of interest to crewing companies and factories producing ship parts.
