Melitopol is a city located in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast of Ukraine. It has a population of approximately 150,000 people. For seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies, Melitopol is not directly located on the coast, but it is situated near the Sea of Azov, which is about 70 kilometers away. The city does not have any significant ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts.
