Simferopol is the capital city of the Republic of Crimea in Ukraine. It has a population of around 340,000 people. Although Simferopol is not directly located on the coast, it serves as a transportation hub and has access to the Black Sea through the nearby ports of Sevastopol and Yalta. The city does not have shipyards or factories producing ship parts.
