Kireka is a suburb located in the Wakiso District of Uganda. It is part of the greater Kampala Metropolitan Area and has a population of approximately 50,000 people. While Kireka does not have any ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts, it is of interest to seafarers, shipowners, and crewing companies due to its proximity to Lake Victoria, which is the largest lake in Africa and a major transport route in the region.
