Choma is a city located in southern Zambia with a population of approximately 82,000 people. It is the provincial capital of the Southern Province and serves as an important transportation hub. Although Choma is not directly connected to the sea, it is situated near Lake Kariba, which provides opportunities for seafarers and water-based activities. The city does not have ports, shipyards, or factories producing ship parts.
